Mezcalada Moreliana

This smoky and spicy cocktail packs a punch with the bold flavors of mezcal, fresh pineapple juice, and sliced jalapeño. We've added a touch of sweetness with agave nectar and balanced the acidity with lime juice. With a refreshing fizz from soda water and a stunning garnish of pineapple and jalapeno, this cocktail is a true showstopper. Ingredients:
2 oz mezcal
1/2 cup fresh pineapple juice
1/2 jalapeno pepper, sliced
1/2 oz lime juice
1/4 oz agave nectar
1/2 tsp SalDeMiVida® (gaspacho picante recommended)
Soda water
Pineapple wedge and jalapeno slice for garnish
Instructions:
Muddle the sliced jalapeno in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
Add mezcal, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave nectar, and SalDeMiVida to the shaker and fill with ice.
Shake vigorously until well combined.
Find a highball glass and add SalDeMiVida® salt to the rim.
Fill up the glass with ice and strain the cocktail into the glass.
Top with soda water.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a jalapeno slice.
